The Ministry of Justice last "22. From 8. 4. ’22. By August 31st, the number of countries eligible for K-ETA application has been temporarily expanded from 104 countries to a total of 107 countries including Japan, Taiwan, and Macau.

In this regard, the end date of the temporary extension was set to "22. 8. 31. to ’22. It has been changed (extended) to October 31, so please refer to it when applying for K-ETA.

ㅇ "22. From 8. 4. ’22. Temporarily additional regions until October 31st (3 locations): Japan, Taiwan, Macao

ㅇ Citizens of the country (region) who applied for K-ETA in August and have already received permission do not need to apply for additional K-ETA.
- Existing K-ETA validity period is also automatically extended until October 31st

* Unlike the existing K-ETA, which is valid for 2 years, as it is a temporary and exceptionally extended implementation, the "22. Valid only until October 31.

* "22. The period from August 4 to October 31 is the period of entry, not the period of stay in Korea. Therefore, even if you enter Korea on October 31st, you can stay in Korea for up to 90 days from the date of entry.
